Focusing On Mental Health During The Pandemic

Now, more than ever, it is important to take care of your mental health.

Changes in routine, fears of illness, financial concerns, isolation from friend and loved ones, and too much free time is causing our nations anxiety and depression epidemic to explode.  Prescription medication use is up 30%.  Anxiety-related emergency room visits are on the rise.

If you find yourself struggling, know that you are not alone.   Undoubtedly, there are millions of people around the world who are having a difficult time adjusting to the new world that has sprung up around us in 2020.    I, myself,  have had a very challenging last few months.   After living with anxiety for 25 years and thinking I had it mastered, the teacher has become the student again and I find myself having to re-learn how to think, react, and cope with anxiety symptoms.
